<p><span style="font-family: TSThgrgl; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal">잡아먹힌다는 것을 안다. 그래서 사력을 다해서 뛴다.

<p><span style="font-family: TSThgrgl; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal">굶어 죽는다는 것을 안다. 그래서 전력 질주를 한다.

<p><span style="font-family: TSThgrgl; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal">가젤은 소와 비슷한 동물로 풀과 나무를 먹고 살며, 사자의 먹잇감이다.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: TSThgrgl; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal">아프리카 동물세계도 잡히면 먹히고 잡지 못하면 굶어 죽는 생존경쟁이
치열하다.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: TSThgrgl; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal">그래서 매일 일어나 뛰고 또 뛰어야 한다.

<p><span style="font-family: TSThgrgl; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal">하지만 우리가 사는 세상은 더 치열하다. 개인에서 국가에 이르기까지
모두 마찬가지이다.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: TSThgrgl; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal">동물의 왕국에서는 배가 부르면 멈춤으로 먹이사슬의
질서를 유지하지만 사람 사는 세상은 탐욕이 끝이 없어서 죽기 아니면
살기로 경쟁하며 살아야 한다. 치열하게 살지 않으면 뒤처지고 도태된다.
그래서 개인도 사회도 피로하고 지친다. 병들고 망한다. 안식과 평강이 없다.

<p><span style="font-family: TSThgrgl; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: normal">그나마 우리가 유럽에 사는 것은 축복이다. 한국이나 미국에 비해서 덜
치열하여 멈추어 서서 자신을 돌아보고 쉼과 여유를 가질 수 있기 때문이다.
여기에 신앙생활까지 하는 것은 더욱 감사한 일이다. 우리는 신앙을 통해서
자기를 부인을 하고 자족하며 사는 것을 배우기 때문이며, 부지런히 살아가
지만 잡고 잡히지 않기 위한 생존경쟁이 아니라 하나님의 영광을 위해서
살아갈 수 있기 때문이다.
